I think this is my 4th time painting this view. The arrays of abandoned pilings and low tide estuary just below the distant KVI beach's requisite radio tower built in the 30s is too much to resist. Certain spots bring us back again and again. The pilings are remnants of 3 steamer docks, a dock for oil for the Biel greenhouses, and a hotel and store.
