íê²½ìì¼ë¡ì¬ë¼ì§ë means to disappear or get lost in the landscape. This piece speaks to the lifelong dissonance of being both hyper visible and invisible as an APIA person, especially in white spaces, and the ongoing pain, privilege, violence and loss involved in that experience. It is about resisting the exceptional, aberrant, and wedge-making label and identity of adoptee within the larger APIA community. And, it is also about my spiritual journey of detaching from confining aspects of identity politics and peacefully scaling into the larger essence of my ancestry.
