We apologize for the inconvenience of not posting prices. Many of our artists don’t allow us to publish prices. We are working with our artists to ultimately have prices on the web site and until then you can inquire by email and we will answer as quickly as possible.
If you are looking to compare prices of works we have to a comparable work you own, or if you are just doing research, we encourage you to contact us through the regular contact form HERE and we will see if we can help.

Artist Statement: I am attracted to the medium of woven tapestry for its ability to imbue imagery with tactility and permanence. What all my work has in common is a preoccupation with layers and an interest in symbolic narrative. The work in this exhibition explores the experience of time and memory, considering moments of transformation both personal and metaphysical. Seismic Shift (Tipping Point) represents a break from the status quo that can be interpreted as tectonic, environmental, or ideological.
Ellen Ramsey has been weaving tapestries in her Lake Forest Park studio for over twenty years. A native Midwesterner, she earned an MA in Art History from the University of Iowa in 1990, prior to relocating to Seattle. She studied Gobelin tapestry technique with master weaver Mary Lane from 1998-2001. Her work has been included in numerous national and international juried exhibitions. In 2019, she was awarded the international Heallreaf Prize for tapestry (UK).
